002 POP-UP MUSEUM OF SOCIALIST FOOD CULTURE IN BULGARIA
A mini paper pop-up book museum, illustrating the food culture, habits and recipes of people during the communist regime in Bulgaria during the 60s and 70s.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A research project on different aspects of food, consumption habits, recipe creation and sharing and shopping culture in a time of political instability, conducted through personal testimonies of people that lived through that era. The representation is through a pop-up book illustrating 4 of the most common food-related places at the time: cafeterias, kitchens, basements and of course supermarkets.
