006  CYANOTYPE ANIMATION

Anthotyping is one of the most ancient techniques for printing and archiving. In this experiment, animations are created through the use of food scraps like spinach leaves and beetroot juice.

006 PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Spotify visualiser videos and hand-printed album covers for Bulgarian hip-hop artist FOM Tedkata’s record “Riverboy”, produced using the cyanotype technique of combining ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, before exposing the solution to UV light.
